India's First Tech Assisted Run: Checkpoints, Community, and a Whole New Way to Run
We partnered with BEL Bullets Run Club to bring runners a completely different experience. Instead of just lacing up and running a straight route, every runner had to hit a series of checkpoints along the way. Think of it as part run, part treasure hunt, part community meetup, all rolled into one morning.
Why We Did This
At Botle, every weekend is a chance to try something new. We are not interested in repeating the same run or the same class every time. Our goal is simple: build a community that looks forward to Saturdays and Sundays because they never know what is coming next, but they know it will be worth showing up for.
The Tech Assisted Run was our way of taking something familiar (a community run) and giving it a layer of tech and gamification that made it more engaging, more social, and honestly, a lot more fun.
How It Worked
Runners moved through a set of checkpoints spread across the route, each one designed to keep the energy up and bring people together rather than just clocking distance alone. Running alongside BEL Bullets Run Club made the whole thing feel bigger than a regular Botle meetup. It brought two communities together on one route, sweating it out and cheering each other on.
What This Means for Botle
This run is part of a bigger commitment we are making: to build the best possible experience for everyone who shows up to a Botle event. Every weekend, we want people to try out something they have not done before, whether that is a new sport, a new format, or in this case, a completely new way to run.
We are proud to have brought India's first Tech Assisted Run to life with BEL Bullets Run Club, and this is just the beginning. There is a lot more in the works.
Until the next one.
